What is on a plant tag? Is it worth looking at? Why are they there in the first place? If you’re like me, one or all of these questions has crossed your mind when perusing the grocery store or garden centre. Plant tags are found in nearly every flower, shrub, tree and plant you can buy, but why? To better inform and create knowledge in the buyer of course! We recently created our very own personalized care tags for our variety of seasons and flowers to do just that. The following is a brief description of the who, what, and whys of plant care tags!
Why have a plant tag to begin with?
Our goal is for our customers to have as much information as possible, and in turn grow the plant to the best of their knowledge. At the end of the day, we want you to have the ability to grow a healthy, beautiful, long lasting plant.
What is on a plant tag?
Ideally, it will contain everything you need to know about how to care for the plant you just bought. Information such as light requirements, temperature, watering instructions, and unknown details about the particular plant you are purchasing. Our tags, as seen in the pictures, contain as much information as possible.
And if that isn’t enough, the QR code printed on the tag leads you to the care tips section on our website! Here you can not only find more detailed care information, but also Frequently Asked Questions, and a contact form in case you have even more questions!
What should I do with the tag after I bought the plant?
In my opinion, save those tags! They contain a ton of information about your plant and how to care for it. Great tip - it’s a good idea to write the date on the tag, and any notes or observations, to keep for future gardening!
Why do we have
written on the tag? Our goal for Willyfresh Plants is to provide you with confidence in our product time-after-time. We want you to be able to share in the experience of caring for your plant, via pictures, care tips, videos and the ability to contact us if need be. The flowers are not just a product but an experience by way of this website.
