Simon and Audrey Van Spronsen started Willy’s Greenhouse on November 1st, 1987 in the small town of Niagara on the Lake, Ontario. They purchased an older style greenhouse and made it their home. The business has been growing ever since …

Head house built and the front section of the greenhouse structure updated
1997
Head house expanded further and back section of greenhouse structure updated
2001
50,000sq/ft of plant finishing area added
2007
Wooden tables removed from greenhouses, and container system installed
2011
20,000sq/ft of plant propagation area added; automation introduced
Today
The specialization in weekly production of 4.5” Chrysanthemums and 5” Fleurettes has driven the business to where it is today, expanding the product line to include 6” Chrysanthemums, 8” Fleurettes, Begonias, Kalanchoes and various upgrades and specialty items.
In the coming years, Willy's is excited to continue expanding its operations, just like the family has continued to grow to 9 grand children, and one on the way!
